PRS-600 Is this screen faulty/broken?

Hi,

I got a stuck PRS-600, but it seems it is not stuck but rather has a faulty screen. And that is all becuse of not been used for several months?! Is it possible?!

When powered on some slight changes in the black/white areas happens, some flickering also sometimes, but no clear picture.

Could anyone tell for sure whether a screen is faulty by taking a look at the attached photo?:help:
