I still have an ancient Sony PRS-505 and been using it for my light readings which don't involve heavy graphics, high-res images etc. Recently, I've stumbled upon some pdf files which aren't formatted with utf-8 so when viewed with PRS-505, the texts were missing some accented letters. I've followed some guides in the devs corner and managed to embed local fonts into the device. Now it seems to be working fine thanks to the hard work of the devs :thanks: But... when I zoom in the pdf files using the magnifier button, the magnified text are still missing some of the non-western letters, small view seems to be working just fine. I've been through the threads all day but couldn't find an answer to my specific problem. I know the device is ancient but the build quality is superb so I don't want to give up on it while it still works. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
